History

Founded in 2023, GiveReads is a non-profit organization based in Rochester, NY, committed to fostering education and literacy in impoverished regions of Asia and Africa. Our roots trace back to a community of compassionate individuals who, prior to the formal establishment of GiveReads, generously donated books and funds under the same name to support underprivileged children in their pursuit of knowledge. This community laid the groundwork for what has now flourished into a dedicated organization, striving to make a significant impact on global literacy.
